Implement databases, data collection systems, and data analytics strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns using statistical methods.
Maintain databases, clean data from primary or secondary sources, and implement process improvement mechanisms.
Contribute to monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) products for UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Frameworks.
Collaborate on the design of digital tools and dashboards tracking national SDG indicator framework progress.
Develop reports, dashboards, and visualization outputs for management decision-making.
Track and report on department-specific data initiatives.
Support data collection, business requirements gathering, and project tasks.
Assist in UNCT statistical capacity-building and mapping of agency-specific technical assistance.
Prepare stakeholder communication materials and clarify data insights.
Stay current on data analytics trends, technologies, and best practices.
Conduct outcome-level analysis and contribution/attribution studies using mixed-methods.
Identify gaps in the National Statistical System (NSS) and propose solutions.
Provide training and 'data clinics' on analytics, results-based management, and monitoring tools.
Perform administrative aspects of the work plan and support team data verification.

Yêu cầu công việc

Advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in computer science, data science, analytics, statistics, applied mathematics, information management, information systems, or social sciences.
First-level university degree (Bachelor's) plus 2 years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree.
Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in core data science and analytics, including statistics and predictive modelling.
Fluency in English (UN Level II).
This position is open to nationals of Viet Nam only.

Ability to communicate complex, technical information to diverse audiences.
