Developer Apparel (One year contract)

Trách nhiệm chính

• Prototype development (BOM): Develop assigned styles/collections with Design, PLM and suppliers including pricing and prototyping
• Prepare, maintain and follow up on all necessary documents (style specifications, size tables, fabrics and trim selection, fitting and sealing comments) through the development process
• Independently develop assigned styles/collections in cooperation with Design / Product Line Management / Team Head Development / other Puma Group Sourcing (PGS) functions and Garment Suppliers
• Ensure on‑time sample delivery and good sample quality/execution/fitting
• Drive proactive cross‑functional communication with internal and external teams to ensure a smooth product development process and provide/collect product comments to achieve higher product value
• Follow up all requested changes to ensure on‑time product finalization and approval (including artwork approvals) prior to bulk order placement (buy ready)
• Create and update Tech Packs in the system, prepare and maintain necessary documents (style specifications, size tables, fabric and trim selection, fitting and sealing comments)
• Release Tech Packs to Garment Suppliers to start the product development process and ensure on‑time data administration in Puma’s Product Range Management system and related IT systems
• Responsible for cost review and negotiations with Garment Suppliers to achieve best possible FOB prices/margins according to target FOBs, and activate cost benchmarking activities for high volume styles to achieve FOB competitiveness

• Diploma or Degree in Textile / Fashion / Clothing related discipline
• 2 - 3 years’ relevant experience in garment/sportswear industry is a must
• Woven and knitted garment with strong fabric knowledge and experience
• Good understanding and knowledge of apparel components and product costing
• Proficiency in Excel (vlookup and pivot table) is necessary
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Independent, self‑motivated, responsible, well‑organized, team‑oriented and flexible
• Good command of English

• Knowledge of 3D sampling, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is preferred
