Trách nhiệm chính
- Champion connectivity and seamless information sharing across vendors and cross‑functional stakeholders within sourcing, brand, material, and planning organizations.
- Manage seasonal development costing milestones and activities.
- Lead negotiations with vendor partners using insights and fact‑based costing methodologies, and collaborate with product engineering to design for higher profitability. Work closely with development sourcing on vendor allocations by providing FOB and landed costing perspectives to support sourcing strategies.
- Ensure adherence to costing processes by costing operations teams and vendors, and track and report key metrics to align processes with performance, efficiency, and transparency goals.
- Demonstrate strong leadership by ensuring high standards of performance, collaboration, and partnership across the product supply organization.
- Achieve improvements in costing activity productivity and efficiency by eliminating redundancies, automating repetitive tasks, and optimizing processes for maximum value.
- Lead and participate in cross‑functional initiatives, conduct specific analyses as needed, and produce deliverables in a diverse, fast‑paced environment through extensive collaboration across teams.
Yêu cầu công việc
- Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial garment manufacturing, buying office, or trading company.
- Ability to understand technical specifications, Bill of Materials, and garment constructions.
- Knowledge of fabric weaving, constructions, and various dyeing processes.
- Knowledge of different embellishments such as print techniques, embroidery, and quilting.
- Experience in sweater knits and accessories.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and reasoning skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good communication skills: diplomatic, open, good listener, direct, succinct.
- Oral and written fluency in English.
- Digital and analytical mindset with a passion for efficiency and process innovation.
- Experience in adopting change, business process redesign or process reengineering.
- Experience in business process improvements desired.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in a global matrix environment, including strategic and innovative thinking.
- Proven success in adopting change and transformation.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment with multiple ongoing priorities.
- Ability to influence and drive consensus.
Yêu cầu ưu tiên
- Knowledge in fabric weaving, constructions, dyeing processes will be a plus.
- Knowledge in different embellishments, e.g., print techniques, embroidery, quilting will be a plus.
