Review national policies, regulations, and technical guidance related to school health.
Assess the current availability, adequacy, and management of medicines and equipment in educational institutions.
Develop a recommended minimum package of essential medicines and equipment for different educational levels.
Define safety requirements, including procurement, storage, and maintenance protocols.
Facilitate technical consultations and workshops to present findings and incorporate stakeholder feedback.
Finalize the technical documentation and recommendations.

Yêu cầu công việc

University degree in medicine, public health, health systems, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in school health, child health, public health, or health systems.
Proven experience in conducting technical assessments and developing policies.
Excellent report-writing skills in Vietnamese.
Good working knowledge of English.
Ability to work independently and meet project timelines.

Advanced university (master's) degree in medicine, public health, or health systems.
In-depth understanding of Viet Nam's health system and school health regulatory framework.
Ability to collaborate effectively with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Training.
Prior experience working with WHO, UN agencies, or other international organizations.
Knowledge of essential medicines, medical equipment, and safety management protocols.

This is a consultant position; independent contractor status applies.
Travel costs for authorized business trips in Viet Nam are reimbursable according to WHO rules.

This is a home-based position in Viet Nam with required in-person visits to Ha Noi and other provinces for meetings and workshops.

Contract duration: 40 working days within a 6-month period.
The vacancy may be used to identify candidates for similar future consultancies.
Candidates must adhere to WHO's ethical standards, including zero tolerance towards sexual exploitation and abuse.
Vaccination compliance is a condition of the contract.
