Trách nhiệm chính

• Assist in interviewing and hiring of Human Resource employee team members with appropriate skills.
• Establish and maintain contact with external recruitment sources.
• Attend job fairs and document outreach efforts per HR Standard Operating Procedures.
• Network with local organizations (e.g., Hotel Association and peers) to source candidates for current or future openings.
• Oversee and monitor candidate identification and selection process.
• Provide subject matter expertise to property managers regarding selection procedures.
• Partner with vendor partners to ensure effective advertisement efforts for open positions.
• Perform quality control on candidate identification/selection.
• Work with unemployment services provider to respond to unemployment claims; review reports for accuracy and correct errors.
• Prepare, audit and distribute unemployment claim activity reports to property management.
• Attend unemployment hearings and ensure property is properly represented.
• Ensure department has available resources to administer employee benefits.
• Support departmental orientation program for new hires.
• Ensure employees are cross-trained to support daily operations.
• Use on-the-job training tools; supervise ongoing training initiatives and conduct training when appropriate.
• Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation program to generate positive first impression.
• Ensure attendance by all new hires and participation of leadership team in training programs.
• Collaborate with management team to ensure departmental orientation processes are in place.
• Assist in maintaining effective employee communication channels.
• Review progressive discipline documentation for accuracy and consistency.
• Utilize an “open door” policy to acknowledge employee problems or concerns.
• Ensure employee issues are referred to Department Manager or escalated to Director of Human Resources.
• Partner with Loss Prevention to conduct employee accident investigations.
• Communicate performance expectations per job descriptions.
• Ensure employee files contain required paperwork, performance management, and compensation documentation.
• Ensure compliance with procedures for accessing, reviewing, and auditing employee files.
• Maintain medical records in separate, secure, confidential file.
• Facilitate random, reasonable belief and post-accident drug testing process.
• Communicate property rules and regulations via employee handbook.
• Ensure safety and security policies communicated regularly.
• Conduct periodic claims reviews with Regional Claims office.
• Represent HR at property Safety Committee.
• Manage Workers Compensation claims.
• Oversee selection/non-selection and offers processes.

• High school diploma or GED; 3 years experience in human resources, management operations, or related professional area.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major; 1 year experience in human resources, management operations, or related professional area.
