- Oversee daily Housekeeping operations and ensure all guest rooms and public areas meet hotel and brand standards.
- Conduct regular inspections, ensure VIP rooms are 100% ready, handle guest complaints, and drive continuous service improvement.
- Recruit, train, coach, evaluate, and motivate the team while maintaining a positive and professional working environment.
- Manage staff rosters, daily briefings, work assignments, grooming, uniforms, and manpower according to business needs.
- Support budgeting and forecasting, control departmental expenses, and optimize the use of resources.
- Manage linen, uniforms, guest supplies, cleaning materials, equipment, inventory, purchasing, and storage.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Laundry, Pest Control, and other departments to ensure smooth operations, preventive maintenance, and safe working conditions.
- Ensure proper control of master keys, Lost & Found, emergency procedures, fire safety, and hotel policies.
- Maintain SOPs, training manuals, renovation records, reports, and operational documentation.
- Work closely with Front Office and other departments to coordinate room status, guest arrivals/departures, special requests, and hotel activities.
- Ensure proper care of flowers, plants, room setup, decorations, and overall presentation of the hotel.
- Monitor industry and competitor standards and recommend improvements in equipment, cleaning methods, and operational practices.
- Perform Manager on Duty responsibilities when assigned.
Yêu cầu
- Degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years in a similar Housekeeping position in a 5-star/deluxe hotel.
- Strong knowledge of Housekeeping operations, cleaning chemicals, flooring, carpets, linen, equipment, and hotel standards.
- Strong team leadership, communication, coaching, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Good computer skills and administrative ability.
- Excellent written and spoken Vietnamese.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Guest-focused, organized, cost-conscious, fair, disciplined, and able to lead by example.
