About This Job

- Perform inspection, installation, commissioning, repair, upgrading, troubleshooting and related service work on offshore drilling platforms, land rigs, shipyards or workshops.
- Liaise with rig’s management during offshore assignment.
- Communicate with respective Managers for briefing and debriefing of service-related activities.
- Fill in necessary job reports, ISO work instructions and checklists required for all work in a timely manner.
- Interface with relevant departments to obtain a thorough understanding of NOV products and how they are safely operated, tested, calibrated and problems are resolved in a timely manner.
- Communicate field failures and feedback reports to the appropriate departments.
- Install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair NOV drilling equipment.
- Provide training to other NOV personnel on the following systems and equipment as needed: analog and digital PLC based systems, proprietary integrated control systems (Cyberbase, Amphion), variable frequency drives, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, electrical systems (including various types of AC/DC motors).
Yêu cầu
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Approximately 50% travelling required, with short notice travel.
Yêu cầu ưu tiên
- Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project).
- Ability to understand electrical schematics and PLC programs; advantageous if well versed in hydraulic/mechanical systems and in-depth knowledge of NOV drilling equipment.
- Preferred working experience in Reliability, Availability, Maintenance and Safety (RAMS) and application of FEMCAs (Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis) strategies for predictive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance optimization.
