Trách nhiệm chính
- Metric ownership: Own the definitions, documentation, and change control for domain‑certified metrics, ensuring a single source of truth and resolving definition disputes.
- Data quality: Define and enforce freshness, completeness, and accuracy expectations for datasets and pipelines, build automated dbt tests, investigate failures, trace root causes, and raise upstream issues with evidence.
- Analytics engineering (dbt): Design, build, and maintain dbt models and semantic layer in SQL and Python, version‑controlled in Git, tested, documented, and aligned with team modelling standards.
- In‑product features: Build end‑to‑end data and insight features such as embedded metric panels, insight cards, exception surfaces, work queues, and agent‑assisted workflow steps, prototyping in a sandbox and shipping through review, tests, and feature flags.
- Analysis & reporting: Support business users with complex analytics requests to enable long‑term self‑service.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and business owners; document work for reuse and support business users querying certified metrics.
Yêu cầu
- Strong SQL query writing, data modeling, and performance‑aware analytics against large datasets; comfortable with CTEs, window functions, and execution plan analysis.
- Proficient Python skills for data analysis, transformation, automation scripting, and rapid prototyping using pandas or similar.
- 3‑5 years experience in analytics engineering, data analysis, BI, or a comparable data role, with at least one end‑to‑end ownership example.
- Demonstrated ability to apply AI to data and product analysis, building and validating dashboards, reports, or prototypes, and developing semantic models and metric definitions for reliable AI‑powered analytics.
- Data quality instinct: habit of validating numbers before publishing, reconciling against source, performing sanity checks, and documenting definitions.
- Business curiosity: ability to learn a business process deeply and translate it into metrics, instrumentation, and engineer‑ready requirements.
- Clear written and verbal communication with business stakeholders, able to explain numbers, defend definitions, and indicate data limitations.
Yêu cầu ưu tiên
- Experience with modern BI or AI‑native analytics platforms and metric certification workflows.
- Advanced dbt practice: custom generic tests, macros, packages, exposures, or CI‑enforced model builds.
- Data quality or observability tooling beyond dbt tests (e.g., Great Expectations, Elementary).
- Hands‑on use of agentic AI development tooling to prototype features or automate analysis.
- Exposure to shipping software under engineering standards: version control, code review, tests, feature flags.
