- Investigate hardware device failures across materials, electrical, component quality, design, and assembly.
- Apply scientific principles and investigative techniques (microscopy, CT, electrical probing) to identify failure causes.
- Produce clear failure analysis documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop and optimize investigative methods and lab procedures to address emerging challenges and enhance failure analysis capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide actionable recommendations and support corrective actions in design or process for moderate parts or subsystems from concept to production.
Yêu cầu
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience as Product Design Engineer, Pixel Watch or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of experience in failure analysis for consumer electronic products.
- Experience working with lab tools (Microscope, CT) and using lab tools to analyze and answer questions.
- Experience in using computer‑aided design (CAD) tools such as NX, Creo, CATIA or Solidworks.
Yêu cầu ưu tiên
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in failure analysis for consumer electronic products.
- Experience with inspection equipment (X‑ray, CT, SEM/EDX), FTIR, DSC etc.
- Experience in one or more of the following statistical analysis and simulation tools: Minitab, JMP, MATLAB, Ansys.
- Experience in system integration, including electro‑mechanical components (audio, display, camera, antenna, etc.), waterproofing, thermals, grounding, or product architecture.
- Experience with FATP process for consumer electronic products, and with NX and Teamcenter.
