About This Job

- Plan, design, implement, and manage integrated production and service delivery systems to ensure performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence, and cost control.
- Lead project team efforts to eliminate waste through standard Industrial Engineering processes, including capital equipment requests, capability studies, plant layouts, tool design, and standard work.
- Develop time standards for process steps for the Product-Process-Time database (IEDB).
- Gather, analyze, and review Industrial Engineering metrics for assigned customers or areas.
- Coordinate layout and facility moves for assigned customers or areas.
- Collect, analyze, and review IEDB data to ensure accuracy and compliance with standard processes.
- Monitor SAP and Manufacturing Execution System configurations to ensure compliance with standardized system configurations.
- Gather and develop data for quotes.
- Coach, mentor, and train engineers within the Industrial Engineering team.
- Support and maintain lower-level Industrial Engineering duties and responsibilities.
- Ensure standardization of Jabil processes throughout the site in accordance with global, regional, and site direction.
- Support the Lean organization by developing a solid process foundation and data integrity to support process improvement.
- Comply with and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Understanding and application of a broad range of industrial engineering tools (e.g., work measurement, process mapping, facilities, and workstation design).
- Understanding of Jabil’s global strategies and direction.
- Understanding of the site’s facilities, capabilities, and how they tie back to Jabil strategies and direction.
- Strong analytical ability.
- Proven record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and managing continuous improvements and cost reduction programs.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in personal computers, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.
