About This Job
Trách nhiệm chính
- Assist in preparing firestop BOQs based on project drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
- Perform quantity take-offs using architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) drawings.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all material calculations for firestop applications.
- Support engineers in reviewing project design documents for firestop requirements.
- Coordinate and organize technical documentation, submittals, datasheets, and certifications.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals, product selections, and system recommendations in accordance with project needs.
- Work closely with Engineering, Sales, and Project Teams to clarify firestop needs and align BOQ outputs with project specifications.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to obtain missing information and resolve discrepancies in drawings or material requirements.
- Ensure firestop BOQ items comply with international and local fire protection standards (e.g., UL, ASTM, EN).
- Maintain updated knowledge of approved firestop systems, application methods, and design guidelines.
- Maintain a structured database of firestop BOQ templates, project files, and calculation records.
- Provide periodic reports on project BOQ status and workflow progress.
Yêu cầu ưu tiên
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Fire Protection, or related fields preferred).
- 5 years of experience in technical engineering support, BOQ preparation, or construction project coordination (preferred).
- Experience with firestop systems, construction materials, or MEP-related designs is an advantage.
