• Responsible to own and implement the EHS programs in accordance with First Solar requirements, Local Regulations and ISO standards.
• Responsible for industrial hygiene monitoring and reporting including ventilation systems (HEPA filter) testing.
• Perform monitoring, update tracking system & deploy controls to comply with environmental health and safety (EHS) regulatory requirements and other related EHS standards.
• Interface with other department’s subject matters and EHS-related topics.
• Perform trainings on EHS for new personnel hired into First Solar and contractors.
• Perform assessment on new tools, process and personal protection equipment and provide recommendation to management.
• Identify potential regulatory issues related to safety matters and perform risk assessment to ensure a safe working environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Yêu cầu

• Minimum 2 years experience in Environmental, Safety or Industrial Hygiene fields.
• 4 year degree in technical engineering/mechanical/chemical university.
• Proven EHS skills and experience in a manufacturing setting – including Safety, Environment and IH.
• Proven problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of internal audit procedures (ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018).
• Proven communication skills.
• Proven knowledge of EHS regulations, standards and procedures.
• Fluency in English and Vietnamese, spoken and written.
• Proficient use of all Microsoft Office suite programs.

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• EHS related degree is preferred.

• No direct reports.
• May travel up to 20% annually.
• Physical requirements: sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift; climb stairs occasionally; lift, push or pull up to 12kg occasionally; use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects frequently; 20/40 vision in each eye, with or without correction, is required; must comply with all safety standards and procedures; may reach above shoulder heights and below the waist occasionally; may stoop, kneel, or bend occasionally; ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to steel‑toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective jacket or apron and arm guards); all associates working on the production floor may be required to wear a respirator at any given time and thus, the ability to wear a respirator is a condition of employment and continued employment (requires little or no facial hair).
