About This Job

- Respond and attend to guest repair requests, communicating with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and visual inspection.
- Identify, locate, and operate all shut‑off valves for equipment and utility shut‑offs for buildings, and maintain maintenance inventory.
- Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts using approved communication programs and standards.
- Perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement, and thorough cleanup of repair areas.
- Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repair on all types of equipment, plumbing, electrical components, and guestroom items.
- Program TVs, perform general housekeeping and engineering‑related inventory duties, and use the Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance work.
- Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping and external sprinklers, and use basic computer skills for air handler schedules and temperature changes.
- Follow all company and safety policies, complete safety training and certifications, and properly store flammable materials.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance, protect company assets, and provide excellent guest service.
- Support teamwork, listen and respond to employee concerns, and perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
Yêu cầu
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Driver’s license.
- Basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and general building.
- Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
